Hughes Mediation welcomes all kinds of families. People who have a loving bond with each other and define themselves as a family, are a family.
Family mediation is not therapy. It is joint problem-solving where conflict is seen as an opportunity for growth and healing.
Complementary Visit
The first step in this process is contacting Hughes Mediation to schedule a 30 minute complimentary visit. During this first visit, the clients outline the issues most relevant to their situation. Michele explains the ground rules and how most mediation sessions work.
Working Together
The mediation setting provides a private, comfortable, and confidential space where each member of the family can be heard and can feel valued.
By facilitating productive, positive communication, the mediator can assist the parties in uncovering issues that may be disruptive, but not immediately apparent.
Moving Forward
Once these issues are uncovered each member of the family can offer ideas to move forward more productively and harmoniously.
